On this the last day of Women’s History Month, I thought I would share a link to The Marvel 616 series and an article about their episode “Higher, Further, Faster” featuring some of the incredible women who are part of the Marvel comics family. I was excited to learn that it was a woman, Marie Severin, who was behind the style and art of the “Not Brand Echh” comics that I remembered quite vividly from when I was just a kid. I get a lot of inspiration from film and animation. I love it when a film has good C.G.I. (computer generated imagery) effects that blend well with the live action. Stan Lee’s Marvel movie franchise has produced so many gasp-worthy, super realistic animated effects that have taken superhero films to a whole new level.
